Skull Chatter (Vol. 2 No. 2)
Greetings and welcome to an unusual edition of The Open Door. Our Summer edition was delayed for printing while we waited for some news relating to an organizational controversy which had regrettably arisen. Our expectations and delay proved to be justified as we recently received two envelopes from Shri Gurudev Mahendranath containing the facts and documentation on this matter. In the first envelope was a MS entitled:
The Splendor of the Bright Shining
(A Corrective to Corruption)
This MS is now typeset and presented as the major offering and conversation piece for this issue. Due to the nature and serious statements contained in this MS our legal counsel advised us to include a reduced Xerox copy of Shri Mahendranath’s original MS as an insert. This exhibit A was included in order to prove the authenticity of the document and to also eliminate any possible suspicion that the MS was victimized by editorial hyperbole or corruption.
The second envelope we received contained Lokanath’s latest aerogram to Shri Gurudev and also a statement issued by Shyamanath of Sacred Stone Nation Zonule, New York City. We felt it was important to include these two items on the insert as they both contain information which is referred to in Shri Gurudev’s MS and may also be of interest to those who have little knowledge of the confusion and its degree of seriousness.
At this point I wish to apologize and beg the indulgence of our greater public who may be less than thrilled by our public exhibition of house cleaning and garden weeding. Since this matter is of great importance for the future of our Nath Order we feel obligated to devote this issue to its clarification. We hope you can all be good sports about this and perhaps derive some amusement from the excitement and historical significance of the information. Most other news items now pale in comparison to recent events so we will devote the entire issue to the matter at hand.
It is our wish that the machinations which have led up to this situation and ensuing clarification be put behind us, and that a time of clarity and understanding will follow. Please read on with care and think about these things.
