Goodbyes and Onward.

Given the wide range of topics being discussed, I suggest that you consider bringing some form of medium for note taking so that you can fully participate in the discussion of the presented topics. I will clearly describe the form of these talks, because this format is not a speech or dharma talk as most know it. The intention here is to engage the THINK process of all involved. You are free to draw your own conclusions. As was the case last year, each participant is required to become a collaborator and co-creator of each and all segments of this Mela. In this sense, we require your full attention. The formal practices boil down to simply following along in a process and protocol explained at our initial meeting. Inside that form, we make it happen both individually and collectively. As in past years, I will be sharing my own meditation energy with all participants. Our work takes place during each segment of the event. This is the time in local space when vital concepts are put into procession. Participation is open to anyone of 18 or more years, in stable physical and psychological condition, and who are interested in deepening their personal connection (yoga) to source. PLEASE NOTE: Many initiated Nathas, climate permitting, conduct their exertions in the nude. This is not mandatory for any participant, but may occur. Be advised. If you would like to attend this rare and potentially profound experience, please email: info@thesanctuarycostarica.com with a short description of who you are and how you have come to be interested in this retreat.

Past Event

INO Mela 2018 will run from April 29th through May 5th of 2018. This event will take place at The Sanctuary at Two Rivers in Costa Rica. We will present a focused inquiry into meditation, mantra, puja and kundalini shakti. This includes discussion of these elements and their interactions followed by daily practice as actual laboratory work. Each participant is required to become a collaborator and co creator of each and all segments. In this sense we require your full attention. These practices boil down to simply following along in a process and protocol explained at our initial meeting. Inside that form, we then make it happen both individually and collectively. As in past years, I will be sharing my own meditation energy with all participants. In this way, you will have the opportunity to have your own experience as to what the kundalini shakti may or may not be. I will explain and assert my personal understanding, developed by more than thirty years of personal work on all topics being presented. This presentation is not a class or lecture in the usual sense. Each topic will be defined along with a simple paradigm connecting the parts to the whole. The work takes place during each segment of the event. The moment in local space when these concepts are put into motion in intentional time. Participation is open to anyone of 18 or more years, in stable physical and psychological condition, and who is interested in deepening their personal connection (yoga) to source. Due to time and travel constraints, we understand it may not be practical for all participants to be present at the April 29th 1pm Guru Samadhi Puja. Don’t be concerned, but make every effort to be on site for the 5:30pm session where the weeks segments will be discussed in depth. The full schedule for the event is as follows.
