An Initiate is one who has taken Initiation into the International Nath Order.
The rite makes a Nath or a Devi. A cryptonym is usually given. The transmission cannot be taken back. It does not make a sadhu, and it does not make an Adept. Those are a life and an attainment. A Friend of the Order stands in harmony with the work and has not taken the rite. How the rite is asked for is on the Petition FAQ. This page only names the person who has received it.
