Alpha Ovule

Shri Mahendranath always referred to his writings as containing “nuts.” The nuts he was referring to were key concepts which had to be “cracked” open by the aspirant in order to have an experiential understanding of what he was talking and writing about. Idle speculation on these concepts was mostly ignored. An example of this would be, “Is this it…is that it?” The point remains that the sincere aspirant must create the environment (zonule work) in order to investigate, experience and verify the teachings and ideas. What Shri Mahendranath was attempting to relate was not a philosophy per se, but to communicate the key points and ideas which lead to his own understanding and success. The idea of presenting concepts in terms of “nuts” was not to obscure or mislead. It is rather due to the limitation of human language and experience. How would you describe an elephant to a blind person without causing even more confusion? The key facets of the Nath Way of Life must be experienced by diligent investigation. Shri Mahendranath has already taken the trouble to boil the field of research down to a reasonably small field. Researchers versed in scientific method know that in order to achieve verifiable results, the field of variables must be limited to a small finite number and focus and observation applied from various angles. This process is repeated over and over until verifiable results appear and can be repeated.
Chief among the nuts to be cracked was the concept of Alpha Ovule. This is the number One mystery wrapped in an enigma. Crack this nut and all is revealed. It is the limitations of most peoples perceptual mechanism which cut them off from perceiving/experiencing it. The view of the eyes is not always the same as the view of the mind. Indeed, Alpha Ovule is a point which can be found in the mind.
