One of the stated goals of the INO is the individual’s development of occult attainments. The word occult simply reflects a human capacity which is hidden to most people. Among these hidden attainments exists a triad of action at a distance influencing people, things, and ideas. This specific triad may be overly broad for most people. My antidote is to write on with finer granularity.
The early Zonule work of any petitioner, aspirant, or initiate is clearly outlined in Shri Mahendranath’s Londinium Temple Strain, freely available online. There is a diagram in that work which details three principal modalities to accomplish within the Zonule. Namely, absorption, projection, and expansion. If you have no capacity to engage this triad or its individual parts, then I assert that you have further work to explore and accomplish. Always remember, initiation as a word, defines a start or beginning, not a destination.
Sincere students of the INO will also notice a number of other key words and triads. These concepts have been put forth as nuts to crack, things to understand and put into practice through your personal attainment of them. Among these concepts is information on the three principal classes of obstructions which must be considered, dealt with, controlled, and overcome if success is to be attained.
Failure to give serious attention to the key words and super faculties is not a convincing sentence of brimstone and damnation in this life or the next. It simply suggests that your odds of attaining the pivotal siddhi: great awakening and reintegration with the Cosmic Spirit will remain low to nonexistent in this lifespan. Why you may ask. This is largely due to a deficit in mind/spirit development, which fails to create the required conditions of mental coherency and transparency required for a direct understanding of the Cosmic Spirit and your personal and successful reintegration within it.
