April 29, 1911. Shri Gurudev Mahendranath was born Lawrence Miles in London. He died 30 August 1991. He founded the International Nath Order in 1978.
He was a Nath guru, tantric guru, sadhu, sannyasin, writer, and Avadhut. As a young man in London he met Aleister Crowley. He arrived in India on Guru Purnima, July 1953, and took initiation in the Adinath and Uttara Kaula streams. The account of that life is on his page.
His principal essays and instructions are in The Scrolls of Mahendranath. They treat meditation, tantra, the dhuni, and a life lived by will, knowledge, and action. The Order he founded is the International Nath Order. How a person meets it is the Petition for Initiation & FAQ.
