Shambhala Tapovan was the fanciful name for the dwelling place and zonule of Shri Gurudev Mahendranath. It stood in Mehmadabad, Gujarat, near the Vatrak river.
It was his last hermitage. He entered mahasamadhi there on 30 August 1991. Letters that decided the Western transmission were written from that house. MAGIKOS takes part of its name from Shambhala; the hermitage and the inner circle are not the same thing. This page names a place.
