INO Glossary: Sama

INO Glossary: Sama

The Sanskrit term Sama means the same, equal, corresponding, balance, or equipoise. It refers to that state of consciousness which reflects neither attachment or repulsion.

Sama is one of the four keywords of the Natha Tradition, the other three being Svecchachara, Samarasa, and Sahaja.
