Maya is the Sanskrit word for the relative world as it appears: the veil, the display, the split that makes the One look like many. It is not “nothing.” It is the field in which a life is lived until it is seen through.
Within the International Nath Order maya is the relativity from which Yoga seeks return. Konditioning is the imprint laid on that field. The kleshas are the mind’s grip. Maya is the display itself. It is not a demon and not a grade. Awakening is the experiential seeing-through. The work is sadhana.
