—Shri Gurudev Mahendranath
Overview
More Scrolls of Mahendranath continues and deepens the legacy of Shri Gurudev Mahendranath (Dadaji), founder of the International Nath Order. This new collection gathers important essays, poetic invocations, and transmissions — all of which have long been available on the INO’s website — focusing on Twilight Yoga, the worship of the Divine, the Naked Fire rite, guardian spirits, elementals, and the practical path of the modern Natha.
Written with Dadaji’s signature blend of raw honesty, humor, and profound insight, these writings expand upon the foundation laid in The Scrolls of Mahendranath. They offer both seasoned practitioners and new seekers a richer understanding of the living Nath tradition, a path of direct experience, personal freedom, and the joyful attainment of peace, freedom, and happiness.
Value of the Book
More Scrolls of Mahendranath brings together some of Dadaji’s most powerful and practical writings in a beautifully designed 6″ × 9″ edition. It serves as both a companion volume to The Scrolls and a standalone resource for those exploring the Nath path.
This collection is especially valuable for its emphasis on:
- The living worship of the Goddess (Devi)
- The Rite of the Naked Fire and other practices
- The importance of individual thinking and direct experience
- The Kingdom of Shadows, elementals, and guardian spirits
- A realistic, joyful spirituality suited for the modern world
Whether you are a long-time practitioner or newly drawn to these teachings, More Scrolls offers clear guidance and inspiration for your own journey.
Biography of Shri Gurudev Mahendranath
Shri Gurudev Mahendranath was an English-born initiate of Indian Tantric and Nath traditions. After decades of practice as a sadhu in India, he founded the International Nath Order in 1978 to promote his own synthesis of the tantric teachings of both the Adinath and Uttara Kaula lines as a spiritual path for sincere seekers in the West. His writings, direct, unorthodox, and deeply experiential, continue to inspire a global community of practitioners who value personal freedom, direct realization, and the joyful union of magick and spirituality.
